Feminine Leaders, Say Goodbye to Old Tapes Keeping You Back

It's been an exciting week here. I was interviewed by three different visionary women who are interested in introducing my work and my new book to their communities; I stepped into a leadership position with the U.S. National Committee for UN Women (LA Chapter); I said YES to a new speaking opportunity to young women; I have been producing and preparing for the upcoming Goddess Salon here in Los Angeles; and I conducted an interview with a superstar woman who has appeared several times on the Forbes "Most Powerful Women" lists, and held at one time, one of the most influential positions in media. (I'll reveal those details soon.)
As this is all happening, I'm feeling very excited, and also nervous. Can I handle all of this? Can I keep up with the pace of it? Will I be able to manage my home life as mom and wife while all of these new opportunities are presenting themselves?
This is an old tape that has been playing for me. While useful in some regards as it helps me stay grounded and not get ahead of myself, it also serves to hold me back. I'm starting to think it's time to ditch the old tape.
Have you got any of those old tapes in your life? What messages are they playing? Are you ready to ditch them, or at least "out" them?
I have found in my own life that when I "out" an old tape, it starts to lose power over me and I start to gain power within myself. It's as if I recover a part of me that has been laying dormant and submerged in shadow energy. When I shine the light on it, that energy starts to loosen up and things start to move again in a positive direction.
So the old tape that I am outing today with you is the question that subtly sabotages me: Can I handle the responsibility? Today I'm shining the light on it.
What old tape would you like to "out" so that it loses its grip on you? Share your voice below in the comments section.
I have a vision of us putting these subtle sabotagers into a circle of fire together and thanking them for their service, and then letting them burn and transform into something new. Something that honors the truth of who you are and the power and potential of your leadership. Let this old tape go sharing it in the comments section below.

In the meanwhile, I wish you a wonderful Friday and weekend ahead.
