One Billion Women are Rising to Say NO MORE

I am so darn excited about what's coming up in the next couple of weeks. Do you know about One Billion Rising?
On V-Day (2/14), one billion women (and all the men who love them) are rising to say NO to violence against women and YES to a seismic and collective remembering of who we are as women on this earth.
We are creating a world dance to shake up our original energy and wisdom and call back our Truth.
Last night the European Union Parliament rose and danced with Eve Ensler in Brussels to kick things off. (See EU Flash Mob video link below.) How cool is that?

Last night, women did a major FLASH MOB at the European Union Parliament, all in the name of ending violence against women and girls worldwide.
In fact, women have signed up from 190 countries to RISE on V-Day. (Reminder: there are only 196 countries in the world.) Women will be dancing in Iran, Pakistan, Somalia, Sudan, Congo, ...
Indigenous women, migrant workers, domestic workers, nurses, teachers, mothers, bishops, comedians, members of parliament, members of gangs ... all have said YES to stand up, break the silence, and RISE.
Can you imagine what will happen when 1 billion women (and men) dance on the floor of Mother Earth on the same day - all in the name of creating a world that is safe and nurturing for women to be their fully sexual, intellectual, spiritual, emotional selves without threat, terror, intimidation or harassment?
Women will be stepping out of their homes, their offices, their schools to RISE and dance on 2/14.
According to the United Nations, 1 out of 3 women will be raped or beaten in her lifetime. We can't let this go on. Enough is enough. We can change this. We have the power. One by one as we RISE.
Please come join this biggest movement of women, maybe ever, on the planet. You can participate wherever you are in the world.
